The purpose of this Privacy Policy, last modified on November 12, 2025, is to inform organizations running DataUnite proprietary software, as well as individuals utilizing DataUnite cloud-based services, of the following:
i) The personal data we will collect
ii) The use of collected data
iii) Who has access to the data collected
iv) The rights of employees, clients, and analysts involving the data we possess.
Consent
By running DataUnite software, or using DataUnite managed cloud services you consent to:
i) The conditions set out in this Privacy Policy
ii) The collection, use, and retention of the data listed in this Privacy Policy.
What Personal Data Is Collected
Organizational Contacts
DataUnite employees may contact, obtain, and use the names, email addresses, and phone numbers of organizational personnel involved in administrative, contractual, or approval processes necessary to establish partnerships, execute agreements, and initiate operational activities with DataUnite.
Individual Users
DataUnite employees will require your email address to properly authenticate you on our Cloud services. Beyond this, phone numbers and personal names may also be collected to use for continued contact and communication. By using DataUnite managed cloud services, the following digital assets can be accessed by DataUnite employees:
- Files you create, upload, modify, or share on the DataUnite managed cloud service.
- Server logs tied to your account that contain information, including but not limited to when you logged on, when you logged off, and activities performed while utilizing the DataUnite cloud service.
Cookies
This website and other DataUnite cloud services do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies unless explicitly noted. Any cookies collected are used solely to ensure the site functions correctly and securely, such as session tokens and cookies for CSRF protection. No personal information is stored beyond what is necessary for the site to operate.
Some DataUnite cloud services allow users to sign in using third-party OAuth identity providers. When this sign-in method is used, your browser may receive cookies from the OAuth provider to manage authentication sessions. These cookies are set and managed by the OAuth provider and subject to the OAuth provider’s privacy policy. We do not access or track their content.

If you choose to use the contact form on this website, DataUnite will receive the name, address, and any other information you voluntarily provide to follow up on your request.
How We Use Your Data
The data we collect is used strictly to support our business operations and enhance service quality. Specific purposes may include:
i) Providing requested services and fulfilling contractual obligations.

How We Protect Your Personal Data
Organizational Contacts
All contact information collected by DataUnite is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. Access to this data is limited to authorized employees who require it to perform their roles.
Individual Users
DataUnite protects individual user data stored in our managed cloud services using industry-standard security practices, including but not limited to:
- End-to-end encryption of user files and information in transit and at rest
- OAuth-based login for protecting user accounts.
- Isolated Containerized Environments to avoid cross-user access risk.
All user data, including server logs and uploaded files, is protected by strict access controls and is only accessible to authorized personnel who require it to maintain service integrity, troubleshoot issues, or fulfill user support requests. This data is also encrypted at rest and is access-controlled.
All contact information is subject to the same standards as listed above in the Health Systems section of this document.
In the event of a system breach, affected parties will be notified in accordance with our Incident Response Plan as well as applicable laws and regulations.
How to Access, Modify, Delete, or Challenge the Data Collected

Modifications
This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to our data collection process. When we amend this Privacy Policy, we will update the last modified date in the “Purpose” section of this Privacy Policy. We recommend that Health Systems and Individual Users of our systems periodically review our Privacy Policy to ensure that they are notified of any updates. If necessary, we may notify users by email of changes to this Privacy Policy.
